Dr. Mahmut Kamil Aslan is a Researcher affiliated with the Institute for Chemical and Bioengineering (ICB) at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. He is part of the Professur f. Biochem. Engineering under the Department of Biochemical Engineering. His work focuses on advanced biomedical technologies, including microfluidics, MEMS-based devices, and cell mechanics analysis. He advises doctoral candidate Andrés Javier Bello Hernández and collaborates on projects involving lab-on-a-chip systems, neural monitoring, and diagnostic platforms.
Key research interests include developing high-throughput screening methods for cell analysis, designing implantable biomedical devices, and improving microfluidic platforms for biomedical applications. His contributions span innovations in viscoelastic deformability cytometry, smartphone-integrated diagnostics, and MEMS neural probes.
