Mahmoud Elsayed

Mahmoud Elsayed, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine. He currently serves as a hospitalist at Parkland Health and Hospital System. His clinical expertise focuses on medical informatics, medical education, and point-of-care ultrasounds.

Dr. Elsayed earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his internal medicine residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and joined UT Southwestern's faculty in 2022.
