Mahamadou Bello Adamou

Dr. Mahamadou Bello Adamou is a Research Fellow at the Leibniz Center Moderner Orient (ZMO), specializing in Religion and Intellectual Culture within West Africa, particularly Niger. His research explores the intersection of religious actors (Muslim, Christian, and Bori followers) with political transitions, focusing on the July 2023 military coup and the societal tensions around Salafism's rising influence.
