Magdalena Formanowicz

Dr. hab. Magdalena Formanowicz is an Associate Professor at SWPS University's Institute of Psychology, where she serves as the Head of the Center for Research on Social Relations. Her work focuses on linguistic markers of psychological and social phenomena, particularly agency and its role in intergroup dynamics and dehumanization.

She has been recognized with prestigious scholarships from the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme and the Swiss government. Currently, she leads two Opus grants exploring The Role of Linguistic Markers of Agency in the Mobilization of Collective Action and The Role of Agency and Morality in Dehumanization – An Integrative Approach.
