Magali Brenac is a Part-Time Lecturer in French and Translation Studies at the School of Humanities, University of Westminster. Educated in France, she holds an MA in English with a focus on modern British drama (specifically Howard Barker) and teaching qualifications in French as a Foreign Language and TEFL.

Her research centers on the translation and cultural adaptation of British contemporary plays into French, particularly examining strategies for preserving creative integrity in drama translation. She contributed to a collaborative project led by Colorado State University, resulting in the bilingual poetry anthology Colorado. Translations/Traducciones (2019), where she revised French translations by MA students while maintaining their creative vision.
She teaches French language modules at Levels 4 and 5, emphasizing authentic materials like newspapers, books, and films. Additionally, she instructs English-to-French translation in the BA Translation program, covering topics such as Tourism, Health, Social Sciences, and Sciences. She also supervises Dissertations and Translation Projects.
