Mads Sørensen is an External Lecturer in the Department of Technology and Innovation at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). His academic work focuses on nonlinear physical phenomena and wave dynamics.

- Kerr nonlinearity in quadratic media
- Wave propagation in optical systems
- Gaussian distribution applications in physics
Publications: His research on soliton escape angles (2001) and fusion arrest phenomena (2000) explores fundamental aspects of nonlinear wave behavior in optical materials.
