Madison Pedigo is a Senior Lecturer II in the Department of Management at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas (since 2009). She holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting (University of Texas, 1980) and a B.A. in Biochemistry (University of Texas, 1977).
Her research focuses on Innovation, Commercialization, Entrepreneurial Finance, Venture Capital, and Technology Trends. She actively contributes to the MS in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MSIE) program, which was ranked No. 22 nationally by the Princeton Review in 2017. Her work emphasizes entrepreneurial education and small business development.
Key awards include the 2014 National Model Masters Program recognition (USASBE) and the 2014 GCEC Excellence in Entrepreneurial Teaching Award. She has been nominated multiple times for faculty advisor and innovation awards.
She serves as Director of the MSIE program and holds leadership roles in organizations like TUNE (Executive Director) and TexChange (Board of Directors). Professional memberships include USASBE, AICPA, IEEE, and the National Venture Capital Association.
