Madison Aitken is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology (Faculty of Health) at York University, specializing in Clinical Developmental Psychology. She holds affiliations with the Cundill Centre for Child and Youth Depression at CAMH as a Collaborator Scientist. Her research focuses on improving youth psychotherapy outcomes through understanding therapeutic mechanisms and testing novel interventions targeting treatment-resistant symptoms. Key interests include parent-adolescent relationship dynamics, precision therapeutics, and real-world relevance of clinical outcome measures.
