Madhuri Bandla

Madhuri Bandla is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business, University of North Texas since 2015. With 12 years of professional experience in accounting, including roles at Deloitte and as AVP of SEC Reporting at a mortgage firm, she transitioned to academia emphasizing teaching and service.

Education: MS in Accounting (Audit track) from UNT (2006), Master's in Commerce from the University of Madras, India. Licensed CPA in Texas since 2007.

Research & Teaching Focus: Integrating industry experience into teaching, emphasizing audit practices, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting standards. She leads the department's Accounting Scholars program and Study Abroad initiatives.
