Dr. Madeline Yung is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. She provides comprehensive eye care with specialization in cataracts, corneal conditions, and refractive surgery including LASIK and PRK. Dr. Yung sees patients at both the UCSF campus in San Francisco and the Berkeley Outpatient Center.
Her educational background includes a BS in Neuroscience (2012) and MD (2016) from UCLA, followed by ophthalmology residency at UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute (2020), and a cornea fellowship at UC Davis Eye Center (2021). She also completed UCSF's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion Training in 2022.
Dr. Yung's research focuses on corneal diseases, particularly infectious keratitis, limbal stem cell deficiency, and cataract surgery.
