Madeline Sterling

Madeline Sterling, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University, and an Associate Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She specializes in general internal medicine and health services research, focusing on social determinants of health outcomes in cardiovascular disease. Dr. Sterling graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a B.A. in Biology and Society, and earned dual M.D. and M.P.H. degrees from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Weill Cornell Medicine and a Health Services Research fellowship, obtaining an M.Sc. in clinical epidemiology.

Her clinical interests include disease prevention, chronic disease management, and patient-provider communication. She holds board certification in Internal Medicine and is fluent in English.
