Ana C. Krieger is a Professor of Clinical Medicine, Neurology, and Genetic Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, serving as Chief of the Sleep Neurology Division and Medical Director of the Center for Sleep Medicine. She is an Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Rockefeller University Hospital. Her expertise spans sleep disorders, pulmonology, and critical care, with board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Krieger holds an M.D. from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and an M.P.H. from New York University.
Her research focuses on sleep medicine, with NIH and NSF funding, and she chairs the NHLBI's MTI K99/R00 grant review committee. She is actively involved in medical education and public health initiatives, contributing to media on sleep health. Dr. Krieger has held leadership roles as a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar and serves on advisory boards for Somnum Pharma and Biosleep Technologies.
