Dr. Mackenzie M. Ott is a Professor and Chair of the Basic Sciences Department at the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) Florida campus. She holds a PhD in Medical Science from the University of South Florida (2010) and has expertise in cardio-respiratory neurophysiology, focusing on brainstem neuronal networks governing breathing and cardiovascular rhythms. Her research integrates advanced electrophysiological techniques and in vivo mammalian models.
