Dr. Maayan Menashe is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow and Affiliated Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Cambridge, with additional affiliations at Sidney Sussex College and the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law. He holds a PhD from Cambridge (awarded the Yorke Prize), an LLM (First Class Honours) from Cambridge, and an LLB (Summa cum Laude) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
His research examines global labor rights enforcement mechanisms, focusing on the International Labour Organization's supervisory systems, transnational labor regulations, and incentive-compatible enforcement models. Current British Academy-funded research project: 'Re-Imagining Global Labour Rights Enforcement'.
Key awards include the Yorke Prize for his doctoral thesis. Recent publications analyze forced labor in Qatar, CSR in labor enforcement, and international labor law as a global public good, employing institutional-economic and game theory frameworks.
