Dr. Maarten van de Meent is a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) in Potsdam. His work focuses on modeling extreme mass-ratio inspirals (EMRIs) and gravitational self-force effects in binary black hole systems using perturbation theory and numerical methods.
