Maarten van Reeuwijk

Maarten van Reeuwijk is a Professor of Urban Fluid Mechanics at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College London. He serves as Director of Research and teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research focuses on transport processes in urban environments, atmospheric convection, and turbulent flows, with applications to air quality, urban microclimate, and sustainable infrastructure. He leads a multidisciplinary research group involving Aeronautical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering experts.
