Maarten Grachten is a researcher in Machine Learning and Music Technology, currently serving as an independent consultant and visiting researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA) in Bellaterra, Spain. Previously, he held senior researcher positions at institutions such as the Department of Computational Perception at Johannes Kepler University (Linz, Austria) and the Austrian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence (Vienna). His work focuses on computational models of music performance, expressive dynamics, and music information retrieval.
