David Meredith

David Meredith is an Associate Professor at Aalborg University's Technical Faculty of IT and Design, within the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology. He specializes in computational musicology, focusing on music information retrieval, algorithmic composition, and mathematical music theory. As Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of New Music Research, he promotes interdisciplinary research at the intersection of music, computing, and healthcare. His work integrates artificial intelligence techniques with music analysis, developing algorithms for pattern discovery and compression in polyphonic music.
