MEHMET AYTEKİN is an Associate Professor at Gaziantep University, Faculty of Economics and Administration, Department of Business Administration. With a career spanning over two decades, he has held various academic roles including Research Assistant (1998-2003), Doctor Lecturer (2003-2018), and Associate Professor (2019-present). His research focuses on Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Operational Strategy, and Sustainability, often intersecting with healthcare and organizational behavior.

His research interests emphasize sustainable production, green supply chains, and digital leadership in Industry 4.0. He has contributed to healthcare management through blockchain technology analysis and patient safety culture studies. His work explores the moderating roles of environmental factors in supplier relationships and business performance.
His scientific publications include 17 books/chapters and 41 refereed articles, with recent studies on sustainable supply chains, health logistics, and employee environmental behavior. He has supervised numerous graduate theses on topics like green reverse logistics, corporate sustainability, and supply chain risks.
He has held administrative roles as Department Chair (2019-2021), Faculty Council member (2016-2019, 2010-2013), and School Director (2009-2021). He is a member of the Operations Research Association and Production Research Association.
