Prof. Hanifi Murat Mutlu is a faculty member at Gaziantep University, Faculty of Economics and Administration, Department of International Trade and Logistics. He has served as Professor (2016–present), Associate Professor (2009–2016), and Lecturer at Kocaeli University (2007–2009). His research focuses on international trade, logistics, marketing, strategic management, and consumer behavior, with a strong emphasis on export performance, digital marketing, and supply chain dynamics.

- Bachelor's: Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Dokuz Eylül University (1989–1993)
Prof. Mutlu's work spans export barriers, consumer ethnocentrism, logistics performance, and technology adoption. He has published 43 journal articles and 5 book chapters, with recent contributions on export performance in Turkey (2024), customer loyalty in Azerbaijan (2023), and digital marketing trends (2022). His projects include Yeşil Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi (2019–2020) and Kitap Toplama ve Dağıtma Projesi (2011–2012).
He has advised 16 master's theses and 4 doctoral dissertations, covering topics like sustainable supply chains, logistics 4.0, and consumer adoption of wearable technology. Prof. Mutlu has also served as project coordinator for initiatives such as the Leonardo Da Vinci Project (2010–2011) and Gaziantep Regional Industrial Design Center (2019). His editorial work includes books on Islamic finance, green logistics, and supply chain challenges.
