MARIA JOSE DOMINGUEZ CUESTA

MARIA JOSE DOMINGUEZ CUESTA is a Professor at the Department of Geology, University of Oviedo. She specializes in external geodynamics and geomorphological processes, particularly focusing on slope instability in the Cantabrian Mountains. She is affiliated with the research group 'GEOCANTÁBRICA Procesos Geológicos Modeladores del Relieve de la Cordillera Cantábrica.'

• Education: Doctorate from the University of Oviedo (2003)

Her research interests include geomorphology, landslide susceptibility analysis, and geological processes shaping mountainous landscapes. She has supervised doctoral students under the guidance of Dr. Montserrat Jiménez Sánchez and Dr. Pedro Farias Arquer.
