معرفی
M.P. Anantram is a Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Washington. His research focuses on quantum mechanical modeling of nanoscale materials and devices, with a strong emphasis on DNA and protein nanostructures, memory devices, and neuromorphic systems. He leads the Quantum Devices Lab, which develops advanced theoretical and computational approaches to study quantum transport, multi-scale modeling, and material properties.
- Education: B.Sc. in Applied Science from P.S.G. College of Technology, M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Pune, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
- Prior Affiliations: NASA Ames Research Center’s Center for Nanotechnology, University of Waterloo.
His work spans topological effects in biomolecules, algorithm development for quantum transport, and interdisciplinary collaborations in neuromorphic device research. The lab employs Monte Carlo, molecular dynamics, density functional theory, and non-equilibrium quantum methods to address complex material and device challenges.
