Prof. Dr. M. Zehra Buğra is a faculty member at Koç University, affiliated with the Cardiology Department since 2022. She previously worked at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine for over 25 years, advancing from Research Assistant to Professor.
- Education: Medical Education at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine (1973–1979), followed by Specialist Training in Internal Medicine (1981–1986) and Cardiology (1990–1994).
Clinical Interests include Heart Muscle Diseases, Non-Invasive Cardiology, and Hypertension. She is a member of prestigious organizations such as the Turkish Medical Association, European Society of Cardiology (ESC), and specialized cardiology societies.
Her career highlights include leading the Echocardiography Laboratory (2004–2022) and contributing to Molecular Medicine at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (2012–2022). She has also served in roles ranging from Branch Physician to Clinical Consultant.
