Dr. M. Andrea Azcarate-Peril is an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and NC State University's Department of Plant and Microbial Biology. She serves as Director of the Microbiome Core Facility, focusing on prebiotic/probiotic mechanisms.
