Müge Çetin

Dr. Müge Çetin serves as a full-time Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Ozyegin University, a position she has held since 2023. Her academic expertise centers on the legal frameworks governing emerging technologies and digital transformation within legal systems.

Her educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Laws from Selcuk University Faculty of Law (2012), followed by Master's (2016) and Doctoral degrees (2022) in Private Law from Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Social Sciences. Her doctoral research specifically examined the regulatory challenges of crypto assets within capital markets law frameworks.

Dr. Çetin's research program critically analyzes the intersection of law and technology, with primary focus on cybersecurity regulation for next-generation networks, digital asset governance, and immersive technology applications in legal pedagogy. Her work addresses urgent gaps in regulatory adaptation to technological acceleration.

She actively contributes to three major research initiatives: the Horizon Europe ENSURE 6G project developing security protocols for 6G infrastructure, the COST Action BEiNG-WISE project investigating behavioral cybersecurity in wireless networks, and the TÜBİTAK 3005 project pioneering virtual reality mock trial simulations for legal education.

Through her international collaborations spanning the European Union and Turkish research ecosystems, Dr. Çetin bridges theoretical legal scholarship with practical technological implementation, positioning her at the forefront of technology law evolution.
