Carlos López-Otín is a Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Oviedo University since 1987. His research focuses on proteases in tumour processes and their role in cancer progression.

Fields: Tumour progression, proteolytic activity inhibition, animal models of proteolytic function, protease characterization, and structural analysis.
