Prof. Lynne Pepall is a Professor of Economics and current Chair of the Department of Community Health at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Economics from Trinity College, University of Toronto.

Her research focuses on microeconomics and industrial organization, with a particular emphasis on antitrust policy and advertising economics. She has served as Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts (2007–2013) and as a Visiting Economist at the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division (2013–2014). She co-authored the leading undergraduate textbook Industrial Organization: Contemporary Theory and Empirical Applications and is currently completing a book titled Advertising and the Market: An Economics Perspective.
