Lynn Brownson is an Associate Professor of Communication and Digital Media and Director of the Medical Humanities Program at Carthage College. She holds a Ph.D. in Speech Communication from Louisiana State University (LSU), alongside bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Studies from Northern Illinois University (NIU). Prior to joining Carthage in 2008, she taught at UW-Whitewater and Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU), where she began her career in 1987.
