Lynette Germes is a Lecturer-researcher at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, affiliated with the Communication, Behaviour & Sustainable Society department. Her work focuses on the societal and behavioral aspects of energy transition, particularly studying local energy initiatives (LEIs) in Groningen and Drenthe provinces. She is a PhD candidate at the Entrance – Centre of Expertise Energy, investigating LEI development barriers, citizen involvement, and municipal collaboration.
