Lynelle Phillips is an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Missouri's College of Health Sciences, Department of Public Health. She holds an MPH (1992) and brings extensive experience from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in environmental health, immunization, and tuberculosis control, as well as from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services as a nurse consultant and CDC field assignee.
- Coordinates the MPH Internship Program
- Teaches courses on epidemiology, ethics, and environmental health
Her research focuses on public health and communicable diseases, with recent departmental news highlighting her contributions to vaccine hesitancy studies and student research presentations (2024-2025).
Current affiliations include the College of Health Sciences and Heartland National TB Center collaborations.
