Lyn Duncan is a Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and a practicing pathologist at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), specializing in dermatopathology and skin cancer research. She leads the Dermatopathology Service at MGH and has held leadership roles in academic pathology since 2007.
- Research Focus: Molecular characterization of cutaneous lymphomas and melanomas, including BAP1 and TRPM1 gene expression as prognostic markers.
- Clinical Impact: Developed improved detection methods for melanoma metastases adopted by MGH, contributing to CALGB 500105 and Harvard Skin SPORE projects.
