Lyle Brewer is an Assistant Professor in the Guitar Department at Berklee College of Music, Boston, where he has taught for over a decade. He is actively engaged in performance, education, and composition, contributing to a diverse musical environment spanning jazz, rockabilly, bluegrass, and acoustic instrumental music.
His research and pedagogical interests focus on guitar technique, music theory, and harmony, with an emphasis on helping students develop their personal musical voice. He integrates professional experience from national and international touring into his teaching, emphasizing adaptability and creative musicianship across genres.
