Lydia Meißner is a Research Associate and PhD candidate at the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena (EAH), affiliated with the Department of Social Work. She is supervised by Prof. Dr. Nicole Harth and Prof. Dr. Simone Kauffeld (TU Braunschweig) under the DFG-funded FIP TOOLS project. Her research focuses on the Science of Team Science, exploring factors influencing interdisciplinary team effectiveness.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in (Business-)Psychology (2011–2019) from Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, University of Groningen (NL), and Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena.
- Master’s in Mediation (2016–2018) from Fernuniversität Hagen.
Research Interests: Lydia’s work bridges team science and educational psychology, analyzing how social identity and contextual factors impact collaboration in interdisciplinary research teams. Her 2023 publication in Social Psychology of Education examines disengagement in at-risk students, linking individual and classroom factors.
Current Projects: Her doctoral project investigates the role of social identity in interdisciplinary research teams, contributing to evidence-based strategies for enhancing collaboration in academia.
