Lydia Kallipoliti

Lydia Kallipoliti is an architect, engineer, and scholar currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture of the Cooper Union in New York. She is also a Visiting Faculty at Princeton University School of Architecture. Prior to her current role, she has held academic positions at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse University, and Columbia University (GSAPP), where she directed the MSArch Program and held the Feltman Chair in Lighting. Her research explores the intersections of architecture, technology, and environmental politics, focusing on material recycling, theories of waste and reuse, and closed systems in urban environments.
