Lydia Colón Bomani

Lydia Colón Bomani currently serves as Chair of the Leadership Department at Bank Street College of Education, where she teaches educational leadership with a focus on community engagement and equity. She holds adjunct professor roles at City College of New York (CCNY) and has a distinguished career in NYC public education spanning 34 years. Her work emphasizes community-centered approaches to education, including restorative justice, social-emotional learning, and innovative teaching practices.
