Luís Reis is a part-time Lecturer at ISCTE Executive Education within the Business School of ISCTE - Lisbon University Institute, bringing 20+ years of industry expertise in transportation and mobility innovation. Currently serving as Senior Manager Lead for Transport, Mobility and Smart Territories at Axians Portugal (Vinci Energies Group), he bridges academic instruction with cutting-edge industry practice.
His academic credentials include:
- Five-year degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisboa
- Master’s Degree in Engineering and Technology Management from Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisboa
Reis pioneers research in sustainable mobility systems with emphasis on electric vehicle infrastructure, smart territory development, and ICT interoperability standards. His work focuses on practical implementation frameworks that enable cross-platform communication in transportation ecosystems, addressing critical gaps in global EV market integration.
As a former board member of eMI³ and two-term Vice-President of the Portuguese Electric Vehicles Association, he has significantly influenced industry standards and policy development. His teaching leverages these leadership experiences to prepare students for real-world challenges in mobility transformation, with particular emphasis on technology adoption and systemic innovation in transportation sectors.
