Luís Graça

Luís Graça serves as Group Leader at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular João Lobo Antunes (IMM), Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, and Principal Investigator for the ImmuneNanoVac project within the Nanotechnologies program area of the UT Austin Portugal Program.

His research centers on nanotechnology-driven vaccine platforms, specifically engineering immune-modulating nanocarriers for infectious disease prevention. Key focus areas include antigen delivery systems, host-pathogen interactions at nanoscale, and biomaterial-based adjuvant development, bridging fundamental immunology with clinical applications.

Dr. Graça maintains dual institutional presence through the UT Austin Portugal Program, operating from INESC TEC in Porto (Rua Dr. Roberto Frias, 4200-465) and collaborating with UT Austin's Cockrell School of Engineering (301 East Dean Keeton Street).
