Luyao Wang

Luyao Wang is a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Ovarian Cancer-Translational Cancer Immunology group led by Professor Ahmed Ahmed. She focuses on developing translation-ready therapeutic platforms for ovarian cancer using adoptive T-cell therapy, aiming to address challenges posed by metastatic disease.

• Visiting Research: Spent one year at the University of Oxford under Professor Walter Bodmer studying colorectal cancer immunotherapy.

Her research spans cancer biology, immunology, and nanotechnology, with publications on fibronectin-targeted nanodisks, integrin α2β1 targeting, and glucose-responsive insulin delivery systems. She has collaborated on studies involving TRAIL-paclitaxel co-delivery and lysosome stress mechanisms in cancer therapy.
