Luule Epner is a distinguished academic holding dual appointments as Visiting Professor (0.25) at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and Associate Professor (0.60) at Tallinn University's School of Humanities, where she is affiliated with the Institute of Estonian Language and Culture. She earned her PhD in 1987 from the Institute of Language and Literature of the Estonian Academy of Sciences and graduated cum laude in Estonian language and literature from Tartu State University (1977). Her career includes significant roles at the University of Tartu, Estonian Literary Museum, and editorial leadership for major cultural lexicons.
