Luule Epner is an Associate Professor of Estonian Literature at the School of Humanities, Tallinn University. She holds a Ph.D. and has taught theatre studies at the University of Tartu and the Drama School of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Her research focuses on contemporary theatre aesthetics, Estonian theatre history, and the interplay between dramatic texts and performances. She has contributed significantly to academic discourse through monographs like *Mängitud maailmad* (2018) and co-authored works such as *Eesti kirjanduslugu* (2001). She serves as editor-in-chief of the online *Biographical Lexikon of Estonian Theatre*, furthering documentation of national theatrical heritage.
