Luminita Olteanu is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, University of Warwick. Her research focuses on the intersection of law and society, particularly examining legal norms, technology, consumer behavior, and brand dynamics. She explores how new technologies and consumer practices influence trademark law, and her current projects include trademark dilution litigation, the impact of commercial messages on body image, and moral justifications in judicial decisions involving brand emulation.
Her doctoral work highlighted discrepancies between legal presumptions and real-world market dynamics in trademark law. She is also a member of the Open Day Team and contributes to the School of Law's academic and outreach activities.
