Luke Peilen

Luke Peilen is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Temple University, where he is mentored by Brian Rider. He earned his Ph.D. in May 2023 from NYU's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences under the supervision of Sylvia Serfaty.

Luke Peilen's research focuses on Probability Theory and Analysis, particularly on models emerging from Statistical Physics and Random Matrix Theory. His recent work explores the local statistical behaviors of Log Gases and Riesz Gases, which are critical in understanding particle interactions in mathematical physics and random matrix theory.
