Dr Luke Collins is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Linguistics and English Language at Lancaster University, affiliated with the ESRC Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Science (CASS). His research focuses on corpus linguistics applied to health communication and media discourse, particularly analyzing voice-hearing experiences, obesity representation, and pandemic language. He co-authored books like Corpus Linguistics for Health Communication and Language, Discourse and Anxiety. His work bridges clinical psychology and linguistics through corpus-based methods.
