Luke Alphey

Professor Luke Alphey holds the Chair in Genetics at the University of York, focusing on innovative approaches to combat vector-borne diseases. His research bridges synthetic biology, molecular genetics, and public health, with a primary emphasis on mosquito-borne illnesses such as malaria, dengue, and Zika virus.
