Lukas Jakob Löcker

Lukas Jakob Löcker is a Lecturer at the Mozarteum University, affiliated with the School of Fine Arts and Media Communication department. He also teaches at the University of Art and Design Linz in the Media Design department.

Löcker specializes in interdisciplinary practices at the intersection of media art, communication, and technology. His work spans digital media, real-time systems, and audiovisual performance. He contributes to research projects like ProQ-STEAM, focusing on media-based education and collaborative frameworks.

As a curator and speaker, Löcker has participated in events such as the Festival Neue Musik, Radical Roots of Rave Symposium, and Sounds like a Book Residency. His projects have been showcased internationally in Linz, Berlin, San Francisco, and Romania.

Löcker’s role involves managing cultural/art education projects and bridging pedagogical methodologies with experimental media practices. His collaborative efforts extend to institutions like the Landestheater, Klimabündnis, and California Institute of Integral Studies.
