Lukas Iffländer

Lukas Iffländer is a Professor of Information Security at the Dresden University of Technology and Economics (HTWD), affiliated with the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics. He concurrently serves as Research Group Lead and Research Assistant at the Chair of Software Engineering (Computer Science II) at the University of Würzburg under Prof. Samuel Kounev. His expertise spans cybersecurity, network security, and self-aware security systems with a focus on critical infrastructure like railway systems.

Education includes a PhD in Computer Science (2015-2021), M.Sc. (2012-2016), and B.Sc. (2009-2013) from the University of Würzburg.
