Luiz Zanotello is a Brazilian artist-researcher based in Berlin, currently a PhD Candidate in Artistic Research at the University of the Arts Bremen (Germany) and PhDArts (Netherlands). His practice merges transmedia installations, texts, and performances exploring material ecologies of techno-imaginary through pluriversal frameworks. He held an Assistant Professorship for New Media at Berlin University of the Arts (2017–2023) and lectured at multiple institutions. Funded by the German National Academic Foundation, his work interrogates intersections between art, science, and technology.

Research Interests:
His work probes poetic tensions between language, matter, and time through projects like Tempo e Tempo and Inspecting Material Unconsciousness. Recent exhibitions include the Venice Biennale and Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb. Publications include chapters in Reenactments in Art and The Dynamic Archive.

Engages with speculative design and media archaeology through collaborations with institutions like Akademie Schloss Solitude and the Royal Conservatoire The Hague.
