Luisa Giuliani

Luisa Giuliani is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering Structures and Safety at the Technical University of Denmark. Her expertise spans structural robustness, nonlinear structural behavior, and fire safety engineering, with a focus on progressive collapse and infrastructure resilience.

Her research investigates structural responses to exceptional actions like fire and explosions, contributing to sustainable design practices. Recent work addresses fire-induced glass breakage, tunnel explosion mitigation, and hydrogen vehicle fire spread. She serves on scientific committees for conferences like NordicSteel and SEMC, organizing sessions on collapse safety and fire vulnerability.
