Luis Rojo de Castro is a Professor and Coordinator of the PhD Program at the Department of Architecture, School of Architecture (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid), Polytechnic University of Madrid. He holds a PhD from the same university and a Master's degree from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design (GSD). He has served as a Visiting Professor at Harvard GSD (1994–1998, 2001, 2006, 2011) and at the Escuela de Arquitectura de Navarra, focusing on History and Architecture Theory.
His academic work emphasizes architecture design studios (undergraduate, graduate, and Master's programs), alongside research in architectural theory and the intersections of Le Corbusier's discourse with Surrealism. He actively contributes to architectural competitions and public works, including the UNED Faculty of Sciences, the International Centre for Economic and Social Studies, and the Sports Centre of Alcazar de San Juan.
