Luis Rebelo

Luis Rebelo is an Assistant Professor at Católica Porto Business School (Universidade Católica Portuguesa). His research focuses on Quality of Life, Nutrition Policy, and the Capability Approach, with contributions to Positive Aging and Social Engagement studies. He has conducted studies on retired Europeans’ quality of life and economic evaluations in palliative care.

Research interests include intersections of health, ethics, and social policy. His work addresses UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being. Recent publications analyze healthcare economics and retirement-related health indicators. Notable achievement includes the 2020 Poster Ribbon Award for palliative care research.
